“I’m merely remarking on the paradox of asking a masked man who he is.”
By now you’ve likely seen us, and you’ve most definitely heard of us. If you’ve seen us, it’s been at a $cientology headquarters, or an Occupy GA or action. Far more likely, however, is that you’ve heard what “we” did to Stratfor, to SpecialForces.com, to HBGary or some other attack.
Of course - I’m not saying we didn’t. By our very nature, Anonymous can neither claim nor deny the responsibility for an action. You see, we are all Anonymous. And no one can tell any other Anon what to do, or not to do. In that sense, everything that has ever been done, is being done, or ever will be done could be the act of Anonymous.
Even you are Anonymous (and we’ve been expecting you.) You may not think so now, or you might now say it out loud, but in the back of your mind, you know that we’re right.
There’s a voice in your head that wishes you were tech savvy enough to line up on the front lines of the Information Wars.
There’s a part of you that wants to put on that mask.
In time though, you will. Or maybe you’ll find your time is when the masks are no longer needed. It matters not to us - to you. So who is that man in the mask?
I am you. I am your mother, your brothers, your sister. I am your aunts, your friends, your closest confidante. I’m the person next to you, and the person behind you. I would give my last penny to you to feed you, and if I have to, I’ll give my life to save your world.
We are Anonymous.
We are Legion.
We do not forgive.
We do not forget.
Expect us.
